Inception------ Is it really good?----- Me thinks we need to finally think for ourselves!
I happened to see Inception ..... you can say i saw the movie that i was actually dying to see. My god..... what reports everywhere... what ratings..... 4 stars and 9+ on IMDB..... i thought it is a sure shot entertainer.
But what do i get?...............SIMPLY.......a lesson in alternative reality!
I am like .......if i wanted to think about the basis of our existence ..... or questions on the power of our minds, consiousness ..... i would prefer to do it on ........Discovery TV or National Geographic rather than CinemaScope! (That way i can be assured or some answers.)
Without spinning a web ... i will simply say..... I didn't like "Inception".
As to why i didn't like it..... it's simple really.... the director is making me think about alternative reality within alternative reality.....that's not too difficult for me to understand. But beyond that the action is mediocre. The romance is missing.....and thrill factor is dampened by the overdose of confusion and sadness that seeps into the movie throughout .......finally reaching its pinnacle at the end.
Moreover, how can we accept that everyone is in the same dream just because you say so. It should have been proved with a lot more credibility. And once we accept that you are dreaming the possibilities are limitless.... personally i didn't find the special effects all that great. Ok they were nice but that's it. Anyone with exposure to special FX will tell you that nothing you saw n the movie is very difficult.
For those of you who are interested in alternative reality...... ever wondered how it is that we only know what we are going though......and .... the feeling that we are trapped in our own bodies.
I personally think that...... recently a lot of attention is being bestowed upon the POWER OF THE MIND...... whether it is through the coming up of healing techniques such as Reiki Or even popular paperback novels such as, The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown , which talks about the Noetic Sciences. (It is a science dealing with the power of the mind again...)If you want to know more, check them out on the Net.
All in all Inception....... is a nice movie but nothing to get the 9+ rating ..... give me A-team or Iron Man any day over it. I hope we audiences are not getting caught up.... in thinking how can we not like it if it is the No. 1 movie of the decade. For those of you who actually are worried ... i would say.... don't forget A-movie....... is all about enjoying yourself rather than getting a headache.

Congrats Priyanka! (I wonder what Ashutosh Gowariker and Jaya will think...!)
I just want to take this oppurtunity to congratulate Priyanka Chopra for receiving the National Award a fitting end to the controversy whether Priyanka actually deserved the award instead of Ashwariya Bachchan for Jodha Akbar.
Congrats Priyanka!

Runonce3 Error on Vista - Solve it the Right Way!
If you are reading it then i guess you are suffering the same problem that i faced. I formatted my machine and found to my dismay that my IE 7 on Windows Vista was stuck on the runonce 3.aspx page, which was not displaying.
I tried searching the Net but the answers i found were very confusing. Overall everyone was saying the same thing but i was in a fix as to how to do it right. Then i found the wonder link of the Microsoft website http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945385.
This link very clearly explains the probem and also has a download which can solve the problem for you in a single click. Considering it is the Microsoft Website it is okay to download and run it also.
This the solution to the following probems:
1. Runonce3.aspx
2. http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=76277
3. First run issues

India’s really got Talent!......Bravo …. The Illuminati!
I know it’s been a really long time since I last posted but been busy.
But let’s first talk about a real cool show that I happened to catch over the weekend….”India’s got talent” on Colors. I had seen a few of their previous episodes and had made the decision that it was primarily a song and a dance show.
But what I saw on Sunday made me change my mind. It was an Independence day - special episode and I was truly struck by the awesome originality shown by a group called The Illuminati. They recreated the Tom and Jerry cartoon show on the stage using fluorescent colors and darkness.
Wow! is all I can say for the sheer creativity and imaginativeness shown by this group.
And let me tell you I am not being kind to them… they truly were great. If you know me you know that I don’t find it easy to praise people. But this time this group really deserves all the credit.
The most important factor in their act was their innovative and original idea. I have never seen or heard anything like this before. I request everyone to check out their act.
Bravo ... The illuminati….Bravo!

Jaya Bachchan-Ashutosh Gowariker are the only authority on Films!
Today I am going to write about a topic which has been going around in my mind off and on. And I decided that to finally get it of my chest I should just pen my thoughts so as to say.
It is about the Ashutosh Gowariker - Jaya Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra controversy at the IIFA awards.
I guess all of you must have heard all about it by now. For those f you who are still unaware of the facts.... let me just do a quick recap.
This year Priyanka Chopra has been receving all the Best Actress awards. At the IIFA too she was nominated and received the award for Best Actres for the movie "Fashion". Great movie and the award was rightly deserved. Bravo Priyanka!
Now hear this.....
At the IIFA awards, Ashutosh Gowariker was called upon the stage to give the Best Actress award to Priyanka. And guess what he did....? He came on the stage and told all and sundry that Priyanka was a good actress but he was just discssing wth Jayaji (Madam Jaya Bachan) that how she could have got the award when Aishwarya was nominated in the same category......!!!!! (MY...MY..... Aren't we getting too big for our shoes Ashutosh...?)
Can you believe it? Are these people for REAL?
Poor Priyanka.... I am sure she was shell shocked!.... This is the director that she is working with in the movie "What's your Rashee?" (MyGod!... Ashutosh ...! and i thought that directors always took very good care of their lead heroines?)
Full marks to Priyanka for receiving the award with full grace even after hearing all this!. Me thinks Priyanka should simply not complete the film. But i know she is a true profesional and would not do anything like this.
Coming to Jaya madam....
People couldn't believe that Jaya Bachchan was involved in any such discussion. So when she was asked about this she said that Ashutosh took her name with her permission and she sincerely believed that Aishwarya's fine performance was being ignored.... (Would someone please tell this doting MOM-in-Law that her dear bahu had practically no acting in the movie Jodha Akbar. ...........Ash just needed to look pretty as a doll and cry ....which being wooden as a barbie she does very well. No issues.........
Jayaji.... I think you are confused ........
This was the Best Actress award! ..... Now if it would have been the Best Doll or the Best Barbie award....Aishwarya would have won it hands down.....)
The best is for the last.......
Jayaji was comparing the acting powers of Aishwarya with Priyanka and considering her bahu a better actress without even seeing the fim Fashion!!!!!!!!!....... This is the limit!
How in the name of god can you pass judgement without knowing the full facts! ....... She has to compare the acting to both actresses ,....if she has not even seen Fashion how can she say that Ash is good!...... This is truly a MOM-in-Law's viewpoint... and Ashutosh ...... well what can we say...
Recently Ashutosh has started being the sure shot way to get popularity for your award show.... Call him to the awards and you can be sure that he will create controversy out of think air.... Few months back he had a fight with Sajid and Farah Khan on the stage of another award function....
Well......Well........ folks that is it..... !
One advice to Jayaji ... start "Bachachan Awards" and give an award to all your family members.... ....You can even give an award to yourself for being the BEST MOM-IN-LAW!

Rakhi Ka Swayamvar --- By god...is she is good or what!
Just finished watching Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. The show will take time to get used to. All the contestants are appearing so funny at the moment. All 16 guys vying for Rakhi's time. I guess... eventually the show will get interesting.
Out of all the contestants, the chap in grey coat and the other in White tux seemed sincere. Quite a few seemed to be there for glamour and showbiz.
One thing is sure...... RAKHI is SINCERE and shines like a DIAMOND!
I think what she says about tv being her calling is actually true. I can't find fault with her approach. If she can have a full program on her and the whole world is ready to watch it why not!
Also, Ram Kapoor is a very good friend to her.... a perfect host and dost.
The setting in a palace in Udaipur is also nice. Loved the jeweled broaches!
Go for it .....Rakhi!
Whether she gets married or not the show has definite promise!
Ok for now ... tata.. goodnight!
